A steering boss was manufactured so the paddles and the steering angle sensor could be used from the standard Roadster steering wheel.
The V6 wheel was made available and still retails for over £600. Popularity of this wheel means that there is very little chance of seeing one for sale.
The leather wheel had a smaller diameter than the 2 and 3 spoke wheels and is considerably more chunky, especially around the hand grips.
The horn is a press button on either side, the airbag is a standard Raid unit and the paddles are standard smart units.
Many people say they can't justify the price of the wheel but most owners who have fitted a V6 wheel say it is one of the best mods they have done.
I have to agree, it adds to the sporty feel and feels more responsive due to its smaller size.
Warning: smart also sold this wheel without paddles and there are a few of these floating around, so double check before buying.
